Because at Mon Bebe we love little ones and because little ones love cuddles, warmth and the smell of freshly baked cakes, we are adding to our range the Cozy Cookie and Cozy Pets line!

Cozy Cookie is a cuddly plush heating pad, shaped like a gingerbread cookie, made of soft, durable polar fleece and filled with rice (nontoxic ingredient!) that has a sweet gingerbread aroma. When this cute Cozy Cookie is warmed in a microwave, it comes alive with a soothing, comforting warmth that appeals to all the senses. It is very therapeutic!

Christmas is coming and that will be a really great present to give to any toddlers. And with Christmas approaching, it is also cold weather, frosty mornings.. A few good reasons to use Mon Bebe...

Had an interesting conversation yesterday with our agent in London. He was saying that he has had a few people who were shocked when presented with the concept of using baby perfume. So we started to talk about the benefits of scents on baby's heath and also the place that scents take in our emotional system.

Who can remeber the smell of mum's chocolate cake, the smell of summer whilst running bare foot and playing hide and seek , the smell of a particular place, which comes back to us out of the blue ? This kind of feelings and reminiscences are triggered by scents because somehow they draw on all our other senses..

Babies senses are limited during early days. Newborns can hardly see and developing sight will take some time ; taste is limited to not much more than milk during their first months of life; touching and feeling is limited until baby can reach and grasp.. So hearing and smelling are the two main senses baby will experience , and it is worth giving it a bit of time and attention.

Using baby scented water as part of an hygiene, sleep or cuddle routine can bring huge benefits to baby. There are several ways to use scented water and give baby some special time.

One is spraying the scented water on baby's hair brush, after his bath for example, and brush very gently the fore-head. This is not only very calming and reassuring ( so helping baby fall asleep..) it is also a good way to prevent cradle-cap as Mon Bebe hydrates the skin naturally.

You can also spray a bit of scented water in your hands or on baby's tummy and massage her tummy very gently to relieve baby's colics, as it contains natural plants extracts renown for their soothing and relieving properties.

Mon Bebe Perfumes shortlisted for the Practical Parenting Awards 2009.

Our Parisian made scented water Mon Bebe, available in UK since February for boys and girls 0 to 3, has just been shortlisted for the Practical Parenting Awards in the category New Product.
